INTERVENTION FAQ

The intervention process takes place over a two-day period. The first day is the “Pre-Intervention” where family & friends gather to learn exactly how the intervention will work to ensure success the following day. The person being intervened upon is not present at the pre- intervention. This takes anywhere from 2.5 to 4 hours. By the end of the pre-intervention meeting all who attend will be much more comfortable with the process than they were prior to this meeting. Todd and his team do not conclude any pre-intervention meeting without all questions/concerns being addressed and with the intervention strategy learned.

On average, most interventions are done within an hour or less. Sometimes it can take hours to get the individual to commit to getting help, there is no time limit in this regard. There have been interventions that took in excess of 6-8 hours, but this is a rarity. The interventionist is prepared (as are friends & family) to be there as long as it takes!

$7,500-$25,000 depending on location, duration of travel, etc.

We travel throughout the entire United States and Internationally as well, we intervene worldwide.

Unfortunately, intervention is not covered by any form of insurance. All
intervention services are privately paid by the client.

All interventions are pre-paid in advance. No money related issues are handled at the pre-intervention or intervention. Once the dates are booked the interventionist will never change the date or request a new one. In rare instances an intervention date is changed by the family due to unforeseen circumstances. We prefer payment by wire Wire Transfer, Zelle, or Credit Card. Payment information is outlined in every Service Agreement prior to engagement.

Only family members and friends who are 100% committed to their loved one getting the help they need with love and compassion. Your interventionist will help you with choosing the right people to participate in the intervention. There are times where some family members or friends cannot be involved for a number of reasons: bitterness towards the loved one; they too are active in the disease of addiction; etc. We help you every step of the way with deciding who is best to be there to have the best shot at a successful intervention.

Yes, most definitely. It is our responsibility to align the proper level of care for your loved one based on their needs after assessing their history and condition. Treatment centers are not all the same. Once we are hired as your interventionist you no longer need to be searching the internet and calling them. We only work with fully accredited institutions with high levels of integrity and excellent track records within the treatment industry.

It is our job to safely transport and admit your loved one into treatment. This is not your responsibility, but there are times when a family member(s) or friend(s) join the interventionist for the admissions process.
